I read that book. It was all true.

In '89 the author released an update, entitled (believe it or not) "89 Reasons the Rapture Could Be In 1989".

It was just as accurate as his first book.

10. I know what you mean. Deeply, I do. I have long tern plans

for finishing school, so I can work earning an actual living wage. (barely, I'm sure), but what else can you do? These are such stressful times, the informed people respond concurrently with you... at times. Some days are better than others, but each day is so precious. That is what I have to take out of this. I can't find anything positive but that. I take deep breaths ..kiss my kids more, have more patience with some serious issues (finance, kids college, etc) but they can only make everyone feel better and appreciate what you have NOW... especially if the worse case scenario unfolds. I won't bet on it though. There have been times where ppl didn't know if they'd live through the night, and they did (thinking Cuban missile crisis as just one example). Somethings seem so hopeless, yet what you can count on is change. When it sucks as bad as this all does, odds are it gets better. I'll take the odds and go forward with my life and plans. I hope you are just having a hard time now, and NOT letting this ruin your spirit. Don't let it take the one precious thing you can control.

Hope I didn't give unwanted advice, I just relate so much to the tone of your writing.

I check it out sometimes because nutty as she seems, she is a pretty good source of legitimate news..as in she is good at collecting links from real news sources.

But her own world view seems bizarre to say the least and she keeps making mysterious claims about ties with the KGB etc. etc. -a fascinating character all in all.
