Maliki is a kneepad wearing Bush suck
I can't believe anyone would defend this puppet that Bush and his minions installed and are keeping safe in the Green Zone with our tax dollars.

Thats not democracy. Thats a tin-pot dictatorship.

1. wow, you really have issues with Maliki, don't you?
you do have some sort of evidence, right, that the elections that put his party into power were rigged, right? might as well post it so we can see.

4. um, yeah, kinda.
I do like evidence of things, I must say. I think it's what separates me from Freepers. but if you take it on faith, that's cool too.

Independent Electoral Commission of Iraq

The Independent Electoral Commission of Iraq (IECI) is Iraq's electoral commission. It was set up in May 2004 by the Coalition Provisional Authority to begin work towards holding an election in the country. The electoral commission is headed by a nine member board. Seven of those members are voting and must be Iraqi citizens. The other two members are the Chief Electoral Officer and an outside expert appointed by the United Nations. In the 2005 election the expert was Colombian Carlos Valenzuela. The current Chief Electoral Officer is Adil Lami. The commission set up and ran the January 2005 Iraqi legislative election as well as the simultaneous elections for provincial governments and the Kurdistan Regional Government. It also set up the voting places in fourteen nations outside of Iraq. The Commission is also tasked with dealing with complaints about the election. In the lead up to the 2005 election the Commission had some 6000 employees. Several Commission workers were killed by insurgents. Many more quit because of the danger, or refused to go to dangerous parts of the country.

8. well gee, um, er, uh, maybe
that's because what you posted isn't evidence of anything, except that the Government of Iraq at the time (the CPA) established a commission to administer the voting. There are no really serious allegations of fraud that I have seen (or do you have another wikipedia link to post?) Even this article doesn't imply in any way, shape or form, that the elections were anything but open. Or did I miss the super-secret page 2?

2. What's Especially Amusing is That Maliki Belongs to the Dawa Party
which according to Juan Cole, actually put Hezbollah in business and also created the Islamic Jihad. And now Bush wants him to stand behind Israel? (snort) Even puppets have their limits.
