Cindy Sheehan buys land near Bush's ranch
War protester Cindy Sheehan has purchased a 5-acre plot in Crawford, TX with some of the insurance money she received after he son was killed in Iraq..."We decided to buy property in Crawford to use until George's resignation or impeachment, which we all hope is soon for the sake of the world..."

1. Oh SNAP!
I love this woman.

Way to stick it to the town that has now told her she cannot protest there.

14. Bought under pretense of being a Katrina victim???
Heard that on some wing nut talk radio show this AM. Found this online:

http://www.postchronicle.com/commentary/article_21230929.shtml

What makes this so reprehensible is that Sheehan deliberately worked this sneaky maneuver to avoid detection, knowing she would not be welcome to do her dirty work. According to a story on Fox news, rumbles coming out of the area say her pal reportedly bought the property under the guise of being a suffering Katrina victim to get a better deal.

Considering the source, I'm inclined to disbelieve this.

15. Pointless move on her part, but that's par for the course
The only people paying attention to her anymore are the posters here and the right-wing fanatics. Nobody else cares, so it's pointless. She's going to live in a little town where everybody hates her. I don't see what she is accomplishing at this point.

Her 15 minutes were up when Bush returned to Washington last summer. I had sympathy for her last summer, but now I'm just annoyed. Doesn't she have a job she has to get back to or anything?
