My thought I have had on the.... Middle East
Edited on Thu Jul-27-06 04:56 PM by texas1928
Does anyone else feel that the whole reason the Middle Eastern countries do half the things they do, is so that other countries will listen to them? I mean this issue now, Countries meet about what to do about the middle east but don't invite the Middle eastern countries to the talks. I mean that is disrespectful. It's like when your parents would sit and talk about what to do about you, and you are right there in the room but they don't ask you what you think. These countries are tired of being treated like children. That is one reason I feel that they are trying to get nuclear technology, if they get nukes, I am sure we would talk to them then.

If they would bring these countries together and talk to them and let them talk to each other, like Clinton did, they might resolve a lot things with out having to have the US, Great Britian, Germany, Russia, and others help. This is ridiculous.

1. Hey there, texas1928
Maybe there's something wrong with me, but it doesn't look to me like BushCo wants to talk to anyone or, wants anyone to talk. As long as there's a war going somewhere, they rake in $.

It's awful to be that cynical but, there I am.

4. They want to play the "BIG, GOOD" Diplomat....
But when it comes to actually getting down and dirty with these supposed "lesser" countries, they don't want to get dirty.

3. Well If our country was treated that way, wouldn't we be doing things...
To be heard? We would have extremists who would probably be doing the same thing their extremists do. We started a rebellion because of the we did not have a say in how our lives were ruled. That is what they are doing.

5. Extremists have already started a rebellion in this country
Unfortunately, they are at the top of our government and trying as hard as they can NOT to be heard until the coup is accomplished.
