2. I've done it once already |
|
While we're on the subject, I have a question-
When do absentee ballots get counted? at the same time as regular votes? before? after?
just curious

Prior to the 2004 county clerk elections the absentee ballots were counted last. Since then, when we elected a Dem into office, the absentee (advance) ballots are counted first.

3. We still have the lever system here in CT |
|
so I will be voting at the polls and not by absentee but I might consider using that option if CT goes to e-voting.

I've been voting by mail for several years now. No lines and I can take my time looking over the ballot and reading up on all the issues.

9. Absentee ballots **do not help**. They very often input them into the |
|
machines manually. Also, absentee ballots are counted after the election has been declaired, usually.

11. In some locales, they aren't counted at all |
|
if the absentee ballots aren't sufficient in number to change the outcome.
