Stupid.

We should use this word more often, because it applies. But we tend to back off from it, and the Repubs get away with saying and doing stupid things, while we hesitate to call them on it. And since we're not direct, freepers claim that we don't stand for anything.

We do stand for things. However, even if we didn't, it's still better to stand for nothing than stand for something stupid.

If you believe that the poor should pay the tax burden for the rich so that the rich can have 'their fair share', then you're stupid.

If you believe that we should have attacked Iraq even though the reasons were lies, then you are stupid.

If you believe that a person being innocent of a crime is no reason to keep from executing them, you are stupid.

If you believe that blanket wiretaps on average people are justified because there are foreigners that might want to call them, then you are stupid.

It's time to start calling the people that fall for stupid ideas stupid. They are. We aren't going to win them over. We wouldn't want them anyway. They're stupid.
