Poll question: Were Dean's comments about Maliki appropiate? |
|
Absolutely. Maliki is both a Bush toady and a terrorist supporter.

Such as when he said quite some time ago that we weren't safer with Saddam out of power. Turns out he was right, considering the mess we're in and the hornets nest of terrorists that has evolved in Iraq.
I guess he's just preparing people for the next whirlwind, courtesy of the bush administration sowing the wind.
edit to add: We'll see Maliki's true colors soon enough.

2. Not only were the comments appropriate they were factual.. |
|
Maliki is a Shia and they like many other muslims hate the Jews....they are enemies..
We need to hear more truth...it makes people uneasy and uncomfortable....in order for the Dems to move forward...the truth has to be part of the plan....

Both as a political line, and as a matter of fact.

Maliki is a man who has refused to condemn the Hezbollah militia. The Hezbollah militia refuses to recognize Israel's right to exist. The leader of the Hezbollah militia says they will win because the "jews love life, but we love death."
Dean has always spoken truth to power, and by golly he's done it again!
We need to make this an issue! Democrats should be shouting it from the rooftops!

8. Juan Cole had an article about Maliki. |
|
Do a search, I did not save the link. Points out that the sect he is from is the one that formed Hezbollah...though he was careful to say no proof that he was part of it.
Bush really did a bang up job. We destroyed Iraq, and have put in place a leader who condemns Israel...just what we need right now.
