You Know They All Have Offshore Accounts
Moon & Scaife & The Pentagon & Halliburton are-a-spreading that Corporate & Taxpayer money around WIDE.
Al-Queda probably has some tucked away offshore, too.

How can Switzerland, the Caymans, The Bahamas, etc., in good conscience, continue to aid and abet global criminals? And they tout their confidentiality as some code of honor. Yeah, honor among thieves.

2. Switzerland protects Nazi, African dictator and Middle Eastern
dictator accounts to this day. Don't expect consciences from any of these people.

4. yeah, foreign tax is a freaking joke
no one reports it and the IRS doesn't ask questions. It should be punishable by prison time to not report foreign income. Let's see if those smug bastards try to duck out on their fiscal responsibilities to the nation then.

5. You're right
We need to send our soldies to Switzerland, the Caymans and the Bahamas, post haste, to put a halt to this banking brouhaha. This might not seem very logical, but it has to be better than where we are sending them currently.

6. Friendly Fascism
Edited on Wed Jan-18-06 02:12 PM by Emit
Friendly Fascism - by Bertram Gross - quote
"Don't think that modern fascists are like Hitler or Mussolini. Today's Big Government-Big Business tyrants are just as willing to use violence. But they do it more efficiently than the old-time fascists-- with higher tech and lower costs to them. They have the best looks, politicians, celebrities, and control mechanisms that money can buy. Yes, their own conscience tells them that true democracy would be nice. But suppressing their conscience, they undermine the rights of the working and middle classes. Their operating principle is "Might, Money, Male, Murder-- and also White--Make Right." They wreck the environment. They fool you, rule you, use you, abuse you--and make you like it. They divide you by race, sex, class, and nationality. But they fear the power of the powerless. They're afraid of what you could do if you get off the boob tube and drugs, out of the night clubs and cut-throat competition--and work with others for equal rights."

7. So do their helpers. Robertson has a billion in the Bank of Scotland
So much for being a "good American".

I really think the corporate/mega-rich ought to read a history about the Bolsheviks and their rise to power then consider the current situation. I fear they'll soon be wishing to hell they had us peons who are free market liberals back around them. But no, they have to go to the extreme - which only brings about the extreme in response.

It happens over and over and over again.

8. My point: The money would EXPOSE them.
It would be much easier to prosecute these criminals if we knew who has how much money, where it came from & when it came.

OTHER countries are preventing this. Bank records are easy enough to subpoena here, but they know that - which is why they hide it offshore.

follow the money.
