What would it take to make "them" notice "us" out here in flyover land? |
|
Edited on Fri Jul-28-06 07:24 AM by Philosoraptor
Do they even know we exist out here? What would it take to make them listen to our voices, take care of our needs, bend to OUR will?
Money? Riots? Strikes? Boycotts? Just what the fuck do we have to do to get noticed around here?
When are we going to turn it around and make these jerks earn their keep and represent US?

1. they are psychopathic.. they dont care, the reason they hate the French is |
|
that they really knew how to throw a Revolution...the French removed them form the gene pool, what they got is genetic. that is why you cant deal with them, they are not able to understand.

5. Well, I guess your reading is another way to comprehend my exasperation. |
|
So I will toss the ball back to you, and ask if by your response you are implying it is hopeless?

2. The whole world knows typical Americans are fat, TV addicts, who have |
|
children with a sense of entitlement, who vote at less that 50% of the voting population, who have a superior attitude, are not educated in the ways of the rest of the world, who don't recycle, and you want these people to riot, boycott, and strike?
I am so discouraged with the everyday people in this country who just don't get it, and don't want to get it.
Please do not lecture me about how I need to hold on, and that we will get results in November when the American people cast their votes.
I am concerned every day of the week about every innocent who dies, has life altering injuries, and emotionally scared by the horror in Iraq.
I have been concerned since the neo-cons started racheting up the war in late 2002, and early 2003.
Now approaching 4 years ago.
The money, the waste of wonderful human life, the money, the lack of progress here for health care, the money, on and on and on.

4. By the way, I agree that it will take action in the streets to get the |
|
attention of the bozo's in DC.
It is always curious to me, however, to read the responses and excuses negating the need for the people to take to the streets.

6. It will take massive civil disobedience, which will lead to |
|
massive violence, which will lead to martial law, which will lead to civil war. Can you imagine what the response of the Dictator's government would be to large-scale, organized civil disobedience? It would tear this country apart. When do we start?

The inhabitants of those long asphalt-paved landing strips and hangars on the coasts?
Who cares? They're just places for layovers on the way to someplace important.
