Have you contacted your Senators
and Representative to voice your displeasure with the one sided support for Israel in Congress? Have you expressed to them your concern over the fate of the Lebanese. I'm sure most of us have, but if you haven't, take the time to do it. It may seem hopeless, but the more of us they hear from, the stronger the odds, that at least some of them may take notice, that their constituents are paying attention.

1. Do you think it will do any good
I have two republicans "representing" me and they don't give a fuck what I think.

2. In your case,
probably not, but I still think it's worth it.

3. Yes. I sent an email to both of my senators and congressman last week.
It is the very very very least I can do as an American.

4. My letter to Sen. Leahy:

Dear Senator Leahy,

I am writing to you today to express my displeasure over the Senate Resolution supporting Israel. It was so terribly one sided. I can't help but think this resolution effectively gave license to Israel to continue its devastating bombing of Lebanon. I was doubly disappointed that this resolution passed by voice vote.

Expediting bombs to Israel to be used bombing Lebanon back into a non-state, does not serve American interests.

I have been shocked by the ineptitude of our SoS, Ms. Rice. The handling of the current mideast crisis by the administration is disastrous. Where is your voice regarding this critical matter?

I am accustomed to hearing you speak out against injustice. Where is your voice now?
