Why Expect Iraqi Leader to be Different
Why is it that all of the Congress thinks this guy who all these people who are predominantly Muslim (supposedly) elected in Iraq, is somehow going to have different views toward Israel (well, really Palestine hijacked) than the rest of the Muslim, Arab world. I just don't get it, and I'm seeing a lot of haughty behavior from both sides. At times I just think they are stupid, then I realize that Congress's members are just as subject to all the brainwashing our society has gone through as we are.

1. Because they owe us.
And that's all.

2. I'm not sure
What they owe us. (perhaps you are being sarcastic, or jocular in your comment)

They were our puppet warrior for years with Iran, and we just pummeled them twice in the last few decades, the last time totally without good reason. Now we've managed to bring them to a total civil war too, and no options look good for anyone.

Certainly the media fed perception is that we do all these folks we attack a big favor, but the truth is often quite different from their line.

3. I say it as what I think Kerry etc. seriously think.
That they owe us for the US dead and the Congressional dollars spent on the ingrates.

4. Because Bush owns this guy and is payed handsomely with our tax dollars
At the very least he should be saying what he is told to say when he is told to say it. And not just by Bush either. The Democrats have just as much right to tell this guy what to say as Bush does.

Do you think just Bush should be telling this puppet what to say and the Dem's should be quiet?

Don
