2. And just to point out...
The animations didn't originally have the politicians' voices. That's been dubbed in by someone else. This was a show in Britain by the people who do Wallace and Grommit where they went out and interviewed everyday British people and put their voices to the animal animations called, "Creature Comforts," which is the same name (and concept) as the award winning short film Nick Park did when he first started at Aardman Entertainment.

This particular episode was about food. The fly constantly talked about different kinds of "poo;" the spider talked about not catching flies because they eat, "poo;" etc.

3. Ah, thanks for that clarification
I knew about the Creature Comforts, but thought Park had made a political version. When I think about it, I reacted to the intro-music to BBC news coming up in the last scene, lol

Don't bomb the Park studios, Georgie :P

4. It's out on DVD - 13 episodes
Each episode lasts 12-15 minutes, and it's pretty fascinating to just hear ordinary people go off on different subjects and then see them animated to be animals. I've watched it dozens of times. Each episode focuses on one subject. That one was food; others include the sea, the circus, going to the vet/doctor, etc.

Anyway, this couldn't be Park's creation. The words don't match the lip movement. In one segment, the dog sitting next to a human starts talking about various gross foods, and says something about how you can take them all, "Put them in a mixer then put it in a can and call it..." She's bleeped on the last word, but the animation is so good, you can lip-read her and see she's saying, "Spam."
