Who in hell are Blair & Bush to talk about resolving the Mideast crisis?
Jesus H Christ, they can't even resolve any form of peace in IRAQ, a dismal situation they created, let alone bringing peace to any other part of the Mideast.

LONDON (AP) — British Prime Minister Tony Blair will seek a U.N. resolution to resolve the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah guerrillas during talks with President Bush in Washington, his spokesman said Friday.

They've got some friggin nerve, getting together to talk about resolving the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, after the example THEY'VE set...figgin warmongers that they are.

Some peacemakers those two jerkoffs are. LOL!!

2. The hypocrisy is stunning. If anything, these two should be excluded from
any and all talks of peace, because neither of them know what peace is.

My guess is that they're going to try to find a way to take advantage of the new war somehow. Perhaps they can tie it in with everything else going on, which will somehow "justify" their involvement.

Well, not their involvement, but their troops. Gotta send someone else into harm's way, can't be taking that chance themselves... :eyes:

Nazis.

4. EXACTLY!!! Bush is certainly no statesmen and his lap dog isn't either!
What a sad state the world is in because of these two world leaders -- in the case of Bush, we've promoted a spoiled, narcissistic frat boy to the highest office, an office he had no qualifications for and now the entire world is paying the price of the simple-minded Republicans, Supreme Court who ushered him into office. He's the great destroyer, deceiver and there can be no rest until he has left his post!

5. It is too late for Tony Blair. He dug his
political grave when he hooked up with the Chimpster. And after 5 years one would think he would come to his senses. If the Chimpster was an intelligent man there might be hope, but we know better.

6. The fact that Bush feels comfortable with Blair doesn't help Blair....
Bush has a select few he feels comfortable with and that would put them all at a disadvantage, possibly label them as being slightly off to win his favor -- anyone with integrity, character, exposed to his methods, would be turned off. Blair is either just like him or his British manner, schooled in diplomacy, allows him to cater to Bush's idiosyncrasies, narcissism.

7. You are missing the obvious, Bush and Blair have no intention
...of discussing peace except how to circumvent it. They will give the public impression that they are discussing peace avenues, but in secret they will be discussing expanding the war in the middle east and how the spoils of this new larger war are to be divided.

8. I'm very torn on this...
It's uber hypocritical of Shrub or Blair to take part in any kind of peace talks when Israel is engaging in their own illegal shock and awe campaign, probably modelled after the US invasion of Iraq. But on the other hand, not condemning an unjust attack is so incredibly loathesome and abonminable. I don't like having to contemplate the lesser of two truly deplorable evils.
