1. It takes physical effort to stop myself
from lecturing every person I meet.

What option does that fall under?

4. Depends, did you lecture before the uh-ohs? (My term for the
first decade of this century.) If you started to lecture someone and they walked away, would you feel the need to kick their ass?

2. I'm Ten Times As Frustrated, Angry and Exhausted. There's No Turning Back
once you're aware, but sometimes I wish to hell I could go back to the days when politics were boring to me and the last thing I did was turn on the news.

5. The question made me think of Babylonsister's quote
Something like, If you don't care about politics it's like saying you don't care about your job, your kid's future, your environment, or anything. (Please excuse me Babylonsister, I'll try to remember it next time, great quote tho)

7. I'm pissed off MOST of the time, and all the time when I have the
TV on CNN, MSNBC of Cspan!

I can honestly say there was a time, not too long ago, that I NEVER HATED anyone! I can't say that anymore, and that makes me mad too! I don't like the changes I find in my personality, and it bothers me that I actually HATE.

Now I am tempted to get a huge sign that says "IF YOU BELIEVE IN FAIRIES, THEN CLAP YOUR HANDS!" Put it on my car and park in front of that stupid church.

9. Not so much angry as tired -- tired of all of it.
Yeat's "The Lake Isle of Inisfree" is a constant refrain in my head -- I find myself scribbling it down when I should be concentrating on other things.

Stress does such weird things to us.

12. I've been pissed off since March 19, 2003
It's been a constant state of information/outrage overload since then. I might take a short recess now and again, but the rage is always there just waiting to be exposed by the next outrage. Before then, I was one of the blissfully ignorant who didn't realize the community that is the internet could raise my awareness by such a magnitude.

your nails and hair done? Lost some weight for the naked bit? Can I have your car when you go?

14. i am pisseder and angrier ever since then.
It's like watching a slo mo movie or dream of someone stepping off the curb into an oncoming bus. You see it happening, but you can't do shit about as you are too far away - but you try, but you know you can't get there in time. but you try. Five years of that sure can drain you.

otoh, I sure let a lot of petty things not bother me that I once have.

16. I'd definitely like to beat the crap out of a few people.
I've felt like I want to shoot some people on occasion, but that passes as soon as I think about it, and I don't have a gun. Not to condone violence of any kind, of course.

I usually just give myself an attitude adjustment.

17. Question for rapture ready person. If the rapture happens when
you are doing something really embarassing, like having sex or taking a big dump, does the Lord give you time to clean up or wipe? What if you are a woman who is having her period, does the tampon go with the clothes or does she get to keep it? Just asking.

19. Other:
I am at a point of acceptance.

I have been through shock, anger, and activism. Which led to disillusionment, more sincere, naive speaking out, further disillusionment, profound disappointment with the Democratic Party and many Democrats in general, withdrawal, and, finally, acceptance.

Not of a path chosen by the nation, or the Democratic Party, that I don't agree with, that I think is harmful. Acceptance of the majority's ability to destroy the things I value and care about. Acceptance that the majority doesn't give a shit about what I value or care about, or what damage they do in their obsession with "winning" and "controlling." Acceptance that, while I will continue to be and say the change I wish to see, I may become more and more marginalized and disenfranchised in the march to empire. Acceptance that, for me, "winning" may not be changing the world, but remaining myself, and refusing to allow the world of humans to absorb me into the overarching self-centered greed and bully mentality.

20. Maybe my "pissed off nature" was dormant until "Selection 2000" but
I've never been the same since that day...

I don't know if that's good or bad...but I've been REALLY PISSED OFF since that day...and it only get's worse.

So...just trying to WORK FOR CHANGE helps me from blowing my top most of the time...most of the time...

21. I voted cranky, because...
it is the closest to what I really feel, which
is ANXIOUS AND SAD, not "pissed-off".

I think DISMAY best describes my current feelings.

I wish I WAS angry, because I don't eat when I'm
angry.I eat too much when I'm anxious.
These *ush years have been KILLER to my waistline.
