Margaret Atwood ("A Handmaid's Tale") w/Bill Moyers tonight on PBS . . . |
|
Bill Moyers on Faith and Reason PBS, 9:00 pm EDT
also British author Martin Amis ("Money") . . .
should be an interesting discussion, considering how close we're coming to the "Handmaid" vision in this country . . .

A Handmaid's Tale was a truly frightening novel. Over the years, I've thought of it many times as I realized that it is "coming true". I'm almost afraid to reread it now.
