Poll question: Resolved (1) The President and the Vice President must resign...

along with their high ministers. Emergency elections shall then be held in a timely manner.

Resolved (2) The President, the Vice President, and their high ministers shall be prohibited from attaining any position of power that they might abuse.

Resolved (3) There shall be significant consequences if the resolution's terms are not complied with in a timely manner.

7. I have a problem with the UN oversight ..
how do we ensure that only democracies are involved? I can think of a lot of non-democratic countries that I would not want involved in our elections - I don't know why people view the UN as a bastion of democracy.

17. By a broad enough reading
"their high ministers" could purge the entire line of succession down to the seventeenth spot, at which point it'd be time either for elections or for some significant ad-hockery.
