along with their high ministers. Emergency elections shall then be held in a timely manner.
Resolved (2) The President, the Vice President, and their high ministers shall be prohibited from attaining any position of power that they might abuse.
Resolved (3) There shall be significant consequences if the resolution's terms are not complied with in a timely manner.

how do we ensure that only democracies are involved? I can think of a lot of non-democratic countries that I would not want involved in our elections - I don't know why people view the UN as a bastion of democracy.
