Anyone have Pix of Bush Family United for King George's 60th Birthday?
I think it occured on July 6th or 8th...but I was on vacation and might have missed the DU fest of Laura and her daughters (the twins) plus the four Bush brothers and the "forgotten sister Doro."

Anyone have some photo's and media coverage of the BIG BASH of the EMPEROR's 60th Gathering with FAMILY AND FRIENDS? Did the Whole Bush Clan show up? Was there a BIG CAKE? Did the "WaPo and NYT's" go into all the family connections from a "human interest" viewpoint?

BIG 60th for BUSH/EMPEROR ...it must have been QUITE THE BASH. Was the Media there too? The Army/Marine Band? Fireworks? ...lot's of good stuff?

5. ok, this may be totally bogus
but according to a friend of mine in the film industry, Belushi's character was loosely based on Dubya. And this was told to me around 1998 or so... I don't know, I can almost see it, and at the end doesn't it say he went on to a political career?

10. Eh, I don't think so
The only thing the Boy King was known for back in the late 70s was being a failed businessman. His daddy hadn't even ran for president yet.

11. Well, Bluto DOES end up in politics (Senator, I believe)
so it's not too far fetched.

Think about it...."Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?" See what I mean?

or Big Press Pump for Bush's 60th.... Although DU'ers have provided lots of "alternative" pix. :D

maybe they couldn't even get Laura to attend. Alternatively maybe they couldn't sober him up enough to take pix.

22. Doesn't he usually go to Kennebunkport for that?
It gives him a chance for those photo-ops with Poppy wearing funny hats and driving golf carts and racing speedboats. I thought it was odd that he didn't go this year. I doubt he's even on speaking terms with Poppy at this point.

"Now watch this drive!"

25. My husband has asked me if I heard anything about what Poppy
is saying to Shrub NOW! He believes he's either reaming him a neww one every time he speaks to him, or not speaking to him AT ALL!

I haven't heard anything lately though. There was a time when the MSM was reporting the only people Shrub was talking to was Laura Condi, and his Mother, but that was several months ago.
