2. OK, I set the reminder on my cable, but I never watched Ferguson.
What in the world is HE like?????

I watch Leno and Letterman once in a while, but usually only their monologue, and then switch. I'm simply not intereested in the private lives of the stars, of wanta be's.

4. I think Ferguson is really funny
His monologue is usually hilarious, the sketches less so.

12. ditto that
I love to watch him improvise with guests or do his monologue. The sketches... eh.

I can't wait till he becomes an American citizen (as he's always talking about doing, for those who don't watch the show). If he's been holding back on criticizing Bush until he gets his citizenship (though I don't think he has been)... look out!

13. I read somewhere that his guests are NOT pre-interviewed
Edited on Sat Jul-29-06 03:02 AM by Syrinx
I think that's cool. He just has them come out and they have a conversation. That's refreshing.

His monologues really seem to be improvised too. Surely he must have an outline or something at least, but you get the feeling that he is just winging it hilariously.

He's a really talented guy.

EDIT: I left out an important word in the subject line.

7. He's hilarious

and very talented. See the movie "Saving Grace", he plays the gardener helping the aristocratic English woman save her home, after her husband commits suicide, by growing marijuana in her conservatory. Hilarious movie, especially the scene with the two grocery ladies drinking "tea" and getting the giggles . . . I'm a Craig fan (but my ancestors came from Scotland, so I'm prejudiced". Ferguson wrote the screenplay, I believe.

11. yeah, that was a funny movie
I caught it on Sundance one night, I think. That was the first thing, other than The Drew Carey Show, that I had ever seen CF in.

10. Well, he was wearing some strange-looking white pants
Edited on Sat Jul-29-06 12:49 AM by Syrinx
He said he doesn't vote, because he wants to stay as objective as possible.

He said he's been "accused" of being a liberal, but people didn't say that when he used to host a nightly show on the Lewinsky scandal.

When pressed on his point of view, he said that he tends to see his own political views as... "correct."

He said that Bill O'Reilly is an idiot. The audience roared with approval at that comment.

Keith is going to do a guest voice on "Family Guy" during the upcoming season, he said.

Well, that's about all I can remember.

Oh yeah, he joked that if he didn't trim his eyebrows they would overgrow his head and take over the world. That's one reason he likes Tom Snyder.
