that definitively link homophobia with latent homosexual tendencies? This has been very well researched and documented. They apparently have equippment that can measure a man's ummm...level of arousal. The men who scored highest in levels of homophobia also scored highest in arousal level in response to being shown scenes of gay sex.

Researchers at the University of Georgia conducted an experiment involving 35 homophobic men and 29 non-homophobic men as measured by the Index of Homophobia scale. All the participants selected for the study described themselves as exclusively heterosexual both in terms of sexual arousal and experience.

Each participant was exposed to sexually explicit erotic stimuli consisting of heterosexual, male homosexual and lesbian videotapes (but not necessarily in that order). Their degree of sexual arousal was measured by penile plethysmography, which precisely measures and records male tumescence.

Men in both groups were aroused by about the same degree by the video depicting heterosexual sexual behavior and by the video showing two women engaged in sexual behavior. The only significant difference in degree of arousal between the two groups occurred when they viewed the video depicting male homosexual sex: "The homophobic men showed a significant increase in penile circumference to the male homosexual video, but the control men did not."

The Freepers are basically boasting about the degree of their own repressed homosexual urges. I think they would be much happier if they would just accept themselves.

I got a ggreat score, but for "Gay people deserve what they get.", I put neither agree or disagree, because if it's a nice person who gets something good, or a bad person who gets something bad, then YES, but if it's a nice person who gets a raw deal, then NO. That's a weird question.

Then the one that said " I enjoy the company of gay people", I just put "agree" because I don't enjoy the company of ALL gay people - some can be annoying, just like anyone else!
