Letter to Congress concerning new Voting Bills

1) Fair machine distribution.

Your bills only ask for a minimal number of machines per district. This does not allow for equal voting opportunity for the population. The Census Bereau provides the data we need to distribute these machines fairly - with an equal ratio of machines to people throughout our country. Indeed, if there is a concentration of the disabled and/or foreign language speakers in particular areas, the data provided by he Census Bereau can show us where to put the machines for those people with those needs.

Most high school students could understand how to distribute the machines equally in accordance with this data, and to no high cost to the taxpayers.

2) No to same day Voter Registration

Some people apparently want same-day Voter Registration. That is begging for fraud. Just call the Los Angeles DMV and ask them why this is a bad idea.

And, in addition to the fraud issue, what if I went to a homeless person and offerred him a six-pack if he'd vote my way?
