I just finished reading the Rolling Stone Iran article... |
|
Then I read about about the New Times article about the audit of Iraq by the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction.
Call me crazy, but doesn't it seem obvious where all this money went? Oh sure, much of it when to build condos for the contractors, but I believe that "oversight" was done purposely to funnel money to the anti-Iranian forces in Iran.
Usually, this type of funding is done via black budget, but rather than take money out of that pile, these neo-con pigs, pilfered the "reconstruction" fund and gave it to those groups.
This is why it will never be accounted for or ever found.
There is so much shit swirling around all of the recent crap going on in the Middle East, I believe that the neo-cons were hoping that their slight of hand (iraq) would distract the various accounting dept's long enough so they could start their war with Iran. Then the issue of where the money went would quietly disappear.
That probably will still happen anyway.
This next year will be one for the history books.
The guns of August...l21st century style.

1. I've been concerned... |

... about the history books. Who the hell is going to write them? Without all the paper evidence available to past historians, who is going to be able to write anything except speculations. Bushco will dump cumputers into the crushers and clip a few people, and all evidence vanishes.
Besides.. with all the bad shit like Warming, Peak Oil, Peak Grain, etc... who says there will be history books?
