Next execution, Jan 19, (Tomorrow) Texas, Julius Murphy
He was given death for a 1997 robbery/murder. Murphy has admitted his guilt, and has expressed remose. A member of the victim's family plans to attend the execution.

Murphy committed the crime at the age of 18. He was both drunk and high on MJ at the time of the crime.

There is another execution scheduled for Friday too. But I will give that one a separate thread tomorrow.

2. Makes me proud to be a Texan!
There are many things to be proud of in this great State, but this is most definitely NOT one of them.

6. Wow!
From conviction till execution in only 9 years?

I thought these were delayed for at least 25 years with all the appeals and all.
