I did not know that! You can convene grand juries
on a state or local level to investigate incidents and elected officials. It was just mentioned on C-SPAN.

What they hell are we waiting for? If a grand jury could put Clinton through the ringer because of a personal act that did not endanger our security, why aren't we dragging Bush/Cheney through as many as we can convene to investigate all their impeachable offenses that keep piling up as I type this?

3. What is Mr. Fitzgerald doing?
I haven't heard anything about his investigation into Cheny's hand written notes on a memo about Joe Wisons trip to Africa. I just wondered about this when I read this.

5. it would be nice to see the good ol' boys
sweat a little, but I don't see it happening.

The grand jury would be made up of other good ol' boys.

We couldn't just say, "Convene a grand jury!" The process is that that the evidence is given to the prosecutor/DA and then he or she brings it before a grand jury to seek an indictment. The prosecutor/DA must present sufficient evidence to convince a grand jury to bind the case over to trial. I was on a grand jury for a year so I know this, although it was about 4 years ago so some details are foggy. LOL.

On edit: typo
