Now the U.S. will force Lebanon to "receive" Condi Rice...
The next major move will be to twist arms in Bierut to have Rice accepted there. They HAVE to do this because how DARE any little country like that tell Americans that their SOS is not welcome to visit and waste time discussing cease-fires that should have been called for days ago.

The current administration will take offense at Lebanon's attitude toward Rice and put attention toward that instead of focusing on the Lebanese people being killed and why the citizens are so enraged.

Rice, of course, insists that she cancelled the visit rather than being told that she was not welcome at this time. She has reverted back into that lying mode she used during the 911 investigation.

Goad Lebanon into the war and then suck in Syria and Iran. The neocons want a war that involves the entire ME!

4. The protesters are right.
The US ambassador should be thrown out and Siniora should insist that someone other than Rice negotiate the ceasefire, someone with only one side to their face and not beholding to the US neocon regime. Carter. Jesse Jackson. Hell, does it even need to be someone from the US? It'd be best if it wasn't.

8. I think that is the way it is going to have to be. Rice has lost
credibility even more by having nothing constructive to say to alleviate the human suffering going on in Lebanon these past 2-3 weeks. How can she dare show her face in a peace-seeking mission NOW? Rice is not making ANY of these decisions. They are being made FOR her by powerful American and Israeli lobbies that are seeking their own further personal enrichment as well as global domination.

When Bush and Rice declined to call for an early and immediate cease-fire in this new ME crisis, it was to allow Israel the opportunity to destroy Lebanon's infra-structure and to collectively punish them for utilizing their Democratic government to elect who they wanted to run the country. Unfortunately for Israel, the war has not been going well. They apparently underestimated the anger and the will of the Lebanese people. This war has shown that the Israeli army is NOT invincible and that they can be routed by people who think in the same devious ways that they do.

I don't think we need worry about the use of nuclear weapons in this current war because Lebanon is too close to Israel and the fallout from such a weapon would possibly poison and kill as many Israelis as Lebanese.
