Will Any Democrats Be on Sunday TV Asking For A CeaseFire?
With this latest atrocity by Israel killing 54 people as they slept will there be at least one Democrat on TV denouncing this and calling for a Cease Fire? Please?!

:(

1. I'd take bets there will be none.
Isn't it time we start questioning the leaders of our own party and their rubber-stamp approval of this bloody disgrace??!!!!

3. Hoping for Dennis Kucinich
He has been strong on this issue, calling for a cease fire. Hopefully, he will stand up and be counted. But then again, will our State Run TV show it even if he did.

6. everyone should be calling for a ceasefire
and those who are not should be considered dangerously psychotic.

Calling this the 'birthpangs of the new ME' is a disgusting and tragic farce.

Calling this anything other than a Turkey Shoot is a lie. (see my sig line)

I really can't believe there are human beings in the world who think this is a 'good opportunity'. :grr:

7. Hell, no
Those few courageous souls with the conscience to speak up will not have the entirety of the party standing behind them in outrage as they should.

I've given up on the Democrats. They're interchangeable parts with the Repugs AFAIC.

9. I doubt it
Maybe, one day, if the focus polls are strong enough. It'll be too late by then but, hey, what the hell...it's only politics.

11. There is a better chance that I will be named Miss Universe next year...
than a Democrat calling for a cease-fire today on the Sunday talkers.

The Republicans have the Democrats so cowed and afraid to appear "soft" on National Defense, they have actually made war hawks out of this Party in the process. I feel ashamed of the lot of them.

13. lol -- there's probably a better chance that I will be named Miss Universe
than ANY major Dem calling for a cease-fire or criticizing Israel in any way, shape or form on national television.

16. Dennis maybe or Jim McDermott. Maxine Waters or Cynthia
would. Barbara from Oakland would. Maybe other members of the CBC

But none of them are running in 08. Too bad for us that this country doesn't appreciate the Jimmy Carters and the Dennis Kuciniches. :(

19. Considering how many have been calling for a cease-fire so far...
I doubt it.

We might get some on telling us how much they "regret" the "unfortunate" civilian casualties but that Israel has a "right to defend itself".

How many does anyone see speaking out against Iraqi civilian casualties? Or, for that matter how many speak out, rather than just shed crocodile tears, for American casualities?

20. Bet on it
if aliens from another universe open a portal into our universe and take away all the current Democrats and replace them with Democrats from the other universe devoted to progressive ideals. Otherwise, we'll hear the same parroting of the criminals in the White House.
