Hey, it was only 37 children.
Gee Condi, hope your piano recital went well. By the way, the 'not wanting an immediate ceasefire', just snuffed out the lives of THIRTY SEVEN CHLDREN.

Have a nice day. Hope you sleep well.

5. you mean captured soldiers
and if you're going to equate 2 soldiers captured while on a mission and held for a prisoner exchange to the needless slaughter of 37 children, you need to adjust your morality meter.

7. HUH??

I'm not sure exactly what you are saying, but as others have stated, soldiers are BY DEFINITION combatants. They signed up to be targets. CHILDREN do NOT sign up to be targets. They just are "collateral damage". THE DEATH OF 400 (or whatever number we are up to) CIVILIANS IS NOT EQUAL TO THE DEATH OF 3 SOLDIERS AND THE KIDNAPPING OF 2 OTHERS.....

Just out of curiosity, do YOU have any clue why Hezbollah attacked the soldiers???

11. Hezbollah chose military targets
By definition, militaries cannot be "terrorized."

8. You know what they say "Lice have Nits"
That was how we justified killing all those women and children when we "conquered the West" and stole the Indians land..

9. That saying makes me want to throw up every time I hear it
That is the ultimate in the way they "dehumanize" the civilians that are killed.

12. I thnk the expression "Nits make lice" comes from a 1864 Cheyenne massacre
Colonel John Chivington, commanding the 1864 Sand Creek massacre, ordered his troops' murder of women and children with the aphorisms "Nits make lice" and "We must kill them big and little." The general public, despite (or perhaps alerted by) the ongoing horrors of the US Civil War, was mostly aghast by the slaughter of helpless -- and supposedly sanctuary-protected -- civilians. Back east, we should understand, no one had "needed" to kill Indians for over thirty years.
