3. I hope they name this insane government of ours too

into the WAR CRIMES category. This is such madness, killing of innocent people and a good for nothing US government. Cheney, Bush and all can go to HELL. Sorry just my rant.

7. France wants an immediate cease fire.

The U.S. wants whatever Israel wants (which is NO immediate cease fire).

Both the U.S. and France have veto power on the council. (See http://www.un.org/sc/members.asp )

And even if, miracle of miracles, the Security Council produces some sort of resolution, whoever winds up on the short end of the stick (or both entities) is just going to ignore it (as is custom).

Much sound and fury signifying nothing, I fear.

On C-SPAN2 last night this Dr. spoke on his book and inhumane treatment of *'s prisoners of war. He said that within the next year a European organizations was going to bring charges on senior whitehouse and pentagon officials. We can hope for justice.........
