Leaflets were dropped, warnings given to Evacuate...but they didn't
Where have we heard that before? Was in not in New Orleans? With the excepts of the "leaflets being dropped" were not those in New Orleans warned to evacuate because of Hurricane Katrina?

And the Media said: "Why didn't they evacutate? And the Media today says "Why didn't they evacuate instead of being bombed?"

 It's always "the fault of the people" isn't it?

1. The fact that
the ISD was bombing the hell out of the roads wasn't exactly conducive to evacuation.

4. if someone told me to evacuate
I would still be sitting here , 65 yr old , without family , and without a vehicle.

6. It's the cult of "personal responsibility"
If somebody else drops the ball, why should I pick it up for them?

While mostly invoked to make sure big corporations don't have to clean up after themselves, "personal responsibility" is most accurately described as an excuse for a lack of action by those in authority. Since Ray Nagel didn't use the "hundreds of buses" that were at his disposal, it's okay for commander kookoobananas to eat birthday cake with john mccain and pretend to play the guitar (sort of how he pretends to be president).

7. On CNN a little while ago Wolfie asked the same question
and whoever he was talking to explained that most of the people left in Qana were poor, many of them farmers who either had no way to leave OR had livestock to tend to.

Not that the war defenders would care.

8. But Israel wouldn't even allow a temp cease fire
so the civilians they supposedly care so much about could escape.

9. So Schumer is telling us now on Late Edition.
"We've all seen the pictures of the chidren and it turns your stomach, but who's to blame here...yada yada yada."

Also said it's not about "moral equivalency."

Pander, pander, pander.

Death, death, death.
