The death and destruction of innocents is nothing if it provides them the chance to pillage and rape. They have abandoned hundreds of years of progression and civilization, returning us to a savage past where strength of arms and loud proclamations of "The Lord's Work" replaces intelligent dialogue and sincere inquiry into the nature of things.

They seek the death of the world! The fate of innocents do not matter to them and even the death of zygotes and embryos is but a political ploy. And, what's worse, a lot of their followers recognize this themselves.

The barbarians aren't at the gate, they're living in the palace, and they're consuming OUR treasury while they're doing it. Laughing it up at our expense, dining on the most expensive delicacies, and pretending they have THE RIGHT to be where they are and what they're doing. They are criminals, but they're worse than criminals. Criminals understand that they're breaking the law...I think these folks believe they are above the law, that they have the right to make their own laws.

They don't. And it's time this fact was explained to them in detail.

Now where did we stash those torches and pitchforks?

2. We are being ruled by criminal thugs. At least the barbarians

had some loyalty to the tribe. The thugs are turning our military into barbarians. Incidentally, barbarians get a bad rap. Back in ancient Europe it was the Romans who were invading and usurping their lands. The "civilized" Romans didn't have such a great human rights record either and their armies were as much into pillage and rape as those they were trying to enslave.

The fact is that a lot of cultures (most of them, actually) totally dehumanized anyone who wasn't of their tribe, and atrocities commited against them weren't, in fact, considered anything but business as usual.

It's not a coincidence that the name for many (if not most) NA tribes translates to "the People."
