What will be the date we air strike Syria and Iran? |
|
Edited on Sun Jul-30-06 02:18 PM by BlueJac
My son in-law is being deployed to Iraq next month. He is scheduled to be there only three months. He is in the air force. His job is refueling planes in midair. The aircraft carriers are already on their way to the Middle East. Is this another pre-war build up or what?

2. There won't be an American attack on Iran. Period. |
|
God that man has screwed up this country for a generation. We've crossed the line from a healthy mistrust of government to an absolute faith in our government's maliciousness.
Remember this: they are not evil to be evil; they do evil to turn a profit. Attacking Iran--besides being geopolitical suicide and strategically impossible given our current force capabilities--would hurt our international business profits. The neocons have never been anything more than useful pet monkeys to the oil and finance jillionaires who underwrite them. Sometimes they forget that they're just monkeys, but Big Bidness is usually pretty quick to remind them about who yanks the leash.

6. You're assuming that the rational, self-interested types are in charge. |
|
For months, I've been saying exactly what you have expressed so well here. But, I wonder who's really in charge here? Is it the Joint Chiefs and rational Wall Street bankers or Dubya and his gang of asylum inmates and their fanatic friends in Tel Aviv?
Things can go very badly crazy very fast under present circumstances. Look at August 1914.

I'm going to have to think of another Biblically significant date for Bush to Immenatize the Eschaton.
Perhaps on Yom Kippur? Mon Oct 2, 2006
Or sometime in October, for our October Surprise-- right around the same time Saddam's trial reconvenes?

11. How about Sept 11, 2006 |

The attack on the trades center is my wifes birthday. The subway attacks in London were on our anniversary, July 7. I thought someone would like to keep the streak of big things happening on special days of our life.
