U.S. Unites Lebanon behind Hezbollah--"WHEN BUSH COMES TO SHOVE:

This slogan, in English, was emblazoned a huge banner above a large Anti-U.S./Israel protest in Lebanon.

This slogan was apparently originally a poster by a Pakistani womens org, but now
is seems amazingly apt to the current struggle in Lebanon and effectively
rallies support for Hezbollah which see itself as the Lebanese "resistance."

The Israeli bombing of Lebanon with U.S. backing is really creating opposition to the
U.S. in the region. It is hard to imagine any result of the last weeks of
Israeli action other than admiration of Hezbollah brave resistance against the might of the U.S./Israel war machine. Even the President of Lebanon expressed admiration for
Hezbollah fighters.

2. Heard that Ayatola Sistani of Iraq just threatenned "Anyone opposing

a ceasefire" (i.e. Bush) with consequencies.

Looks like Iraq will be the main sponsor of Hezbollah in a few years.
