1. I wish, msongs!
Wouldn't that be nice?

But the humidity is still high and the temps will creep up a bit towards the
end of the week.

I bet it feels great in Riverside, right now.

I have never longed for the marine layer, aka, May gray and June gloom more.

That or I wish we'd get a good rain storm.

:hi:

2. Sigh.........
I'm afraid that I am not cut out for global warming. 70F is a bit warm in my view......I'll be the one taking a tour of glacier bay and wearing shorts.

3. You could be describing southern Arizona, too.
But we haven't had it quite as bad as you.

7. Odd...we had a glorious day's break from the soup, too. But the soup
came right back. Enjoy it while you can.

9. It's just a touch over 100 today
this used to be somewhat unusual. We've had 90's and 100's for the last 2 weeks. Also it used to snow and now we get one half hearted snow storm per year. Don't tell me something isn't wrong with the weather.

10. It has just moved into the middle of the country and it is going to sit on
us for days.

At 10:00 pm last night, I was going to take my dog for a walk. I checked the temperature - 85 degrees, feels like 95 degrees - just lovely.

12. Around 7:40 PM and it's brutally hot
Here in eastern Iowa. 91 right now, and that's air temperature. Global warming? I don't know, it gets hot here every year. I just wish it would cool off.

11. Today's high matched my last weeks low - 87º F in the Central Valley
I'm to busy doing what I should have done last week to think about global warming today.

13. Yep. It's over.
Proof that the tree huggers were overreacting to some natural variations.

Which of course is basically what we'll hear if there's a blizzard anywhere in the U.S. this winter -- clumsy sarcasm about "What global warming?" Or, "Boy, we sure could use some of that global warming now, huh?"
