source to refute a Bushbot acquaintance's claims that "Saddam Hussein was training Al Queda." Googling just gets me into a ton of stuff, a great deal of which is crap.

ON EDIT: Thanks for all the help. I think it was Powell's admissions I was remembering but I misremembered who said it.

4. Thanks, but this guy would probably consider Powell "a liberal
ex-general, who was fired by the Bush Administration for disloyalty, who has an an axe to grind."

10. Google "Al Queda and Saddam Hussein" and you'll see he
could come up with lots of "proof" from the far-right. I think I remembered Powell's admissions but not who said it.

2. The fact that Al Qaeda was in the north with the Kurds
who wanted to lynch the Ba'athist government should be proof enough, really.

3. Speaking of crap...

Don't waste your time. This person is a lemming and is part of the 33% of the sheeple population who submit to an authoritarian type of government. They will never change...

5. Hmm. I used to think government sources were the most credible
I no longer feel that way since all agencies are headed by Bush/Cheney/RNC cronies. If you look at their bios they've all served as the head of state or national RNC and they all follow the same right wing agenda.

You're better off using university sources. Check out modern military history of Iraq in colleges that have Middle East studies.

Here's something to get you started:

7. This guy wouldn't accept anything that didn't have a flag or an
eagle on the letterhead. (Unless Rush Limbaugh said it.)

influence.
