I don't intend to offend anyone but I have one simple question to ask . What ever happened to common sense ?
Can't it be applied to almost every situation we are now dealing with ?
Take for example Mel Gibson , who the hell cares what some fool does other than the fact that he should be charged for driving under the influence just like any other common citizen like you or me would be .
All this talk about whether Israel has the right to defend itself which could be a simple basic answer but there will never be one . If you really want to go back a bit , entering papa bushes gulf war just in time for an election boost and then we punish the Iraqi's with sanctions for what 12 years , there were the citizens who suffered after all . does anyone recall ever seeing papa bush during his entire vice presidency , I thought about this when he was the vice , never saw him once , and hardly knew a thing about him at the time .
My point is if the US were ever interested in spreading freedom or democracy would it not be in the best interests of all concerned that the efforts would have been focused strictly on helping nations find better ways to use their resources and they could teach us and then trade with each other so everyone in every country plays a part rather than bombing them and taking everything each has got . Well i would hope the answer would be yes .
The US can't even find a way to smooth out it;s own internal conflicts so where do we stand making decisions for anyone else on earth .
Everyone is so very proud of their background and religion that their pride becomes the motivation for all blindness and ignorance . I have yet to see anyone with wings or any man any closer to any god than a common tree frog but yet men claim to be chosen for this self elected task and by who , did some god ever contact them directly , were they not born the same way as everyone else sucking in their first breath ? Is any human above any other that they have a right to take a life away ? If so who placed them there ?
When people begin blabbering about their vacant opinions someone should toss a bucket of ice water in their face and wish then a nice damn day .
If you were to strip away all the layers of race and religion , conquests and reward what we would have left is common sense and humanity , then work with just that for a change and just maybe we could get one thing solved without screwing things up for someone else . Either it breaks down to something reasonable or we all end up ashes and dust .

It does seem as though every little thing nowdays gets pounded into religious or political or some other square hole... and then we all go off on it. We do need to all back off, take a deep breath and engage the ol' common sense. I haven't seen any screen names like Goosey-loosey, Turkey-lurkey, or anything of that ilk...and the sky is NOT falling. :kick: K&R
