Did you know that Pat Tillman's parents are "atheists"? (sarcasm) |

1. um..., as an atheist, I read this and thought, "so what...?" |
|
Why is Pat Tillman's death still something worth writing about? In the absence of new developments about the facts involved in his death, articles like this one are simply not very compelling, IMO.

2. Because all the fundies hold him up like hero and one |
|
of their own. He gave up the big NFL contract to join the army and fight for his country and paid the ultimate price. The only difference is that he actually joined and fought as compared to most fundies who are chicken hawks.

3. I think they stopped holding him up as a hero .... |
|
...when they learned that he had opposed the Iraq war and was anti-Bush.
I think Tillman was an atheist as well. His brother admonished people at the funeral who had made references to God, an afterlife, etc.

5. I assume you're bashing Truthout over their erroneous Rove indictment |
|
report.
Try applying the same standard to The NY Times or any TV news network, then tell me who's more reliable.

6. Don't worry Ann Coulter will soon slime them! |
|
After all when told that Tillman was anti-war, she didn't believe it. Because in Ann's eyes Pat was a man's man, who loves killing and couldn't possibly see this as wrong-headed and evil.
