Bush's Speech is Wishful Thinking Run Amuck
Totally denying the complexities of reality, and stucking to his idea that we will be able to transform the Middle Est into a western style democracy.

3. Just before Shrub came on, MSNB had a former ambassador on
talking about Condi not going to Lebanon, annd the whole mess over in the ME. I didn't catch the lady's name, but I bet she was an ambassador when linton was Prez.

She said Condi has her hands full right now, and she doesn't have any experience in diplomacy, in fact this entire administration doesn't have experience in diplomacy. The ME problems cannot be resolved militarily, it's going to have to be a multi tiered diplomatic process with the final agreements made by the heards of State, which means Shrub is going to have to do it himself!

Then they switched over to Shrub standing in front of a lake and I switched to the Food Network!

4. The contrast between her words and Shrub's speechifying...
would probably have been difficult to take.

You made the right move by switching to the Food Network.

5. Bush is doing exactly what he's supposed to do.
He is painting a rosy picture so that the war profiteers can continue plundering our Treasury.

They don't give a damn about the people in the Middle East or democracy or WMD.

They will be booted into the street but we will be left with a huge disaster to clean up.

They will have stolen billions and billions by the time we retake the government and attempt to establish order again.

Just an ongoing sham to let them continue the crime spree.

Bush is the puppet boy just like Saint Ronnie.

Despite what he says, he is not "the decider."

I doubt that Bush has made one important decision in his (P)residency.
