2. Good question. You'd think he'd be meeting with UN members
or something even vaguely constructive in a time of crisis. Of course the war in Iraq has become a back burner item, not seen as a "crises" anymore........

16. Exactly! You would think that he would be embarrassed to be
out of DC at a time like this.

He apparently doesn't care that the Israeli's made Rice look like a 100% fool. She came rushing back to America as though she had really accomplished something with that 48 hour "cessation" in hand, just in time to make the headlines and then Israel said, "PSYCHE!" "You dum-assed fools really think we MEAN THAT? Then you are even bigger idiots than we thought you were!"

23. He believes he kills 3 birds with one stone...
When he goes to Miami, it sends a silent message to the Jewish constituents that he supports Israel, even if he doesn't meet with them. He reinforces his support for the Cuban-Americans and any future plans against Cuba. And he plans to visit the Hurricane Center so that he and his Party will not be caught flat-footed before the next hurricane just before election. Bottom line - politics.

24. Yep. I got it wrong, btw
It is this week, and Tuesday is tomorrow, so I guess we'll see soon. Don't underestimate the fundie radar, they communicate with the cabal on their own frequency. You don't have to believe in the rapture, it's enough that they do and produce the specifications needed. Norad on the move, Bush in Florida, Israel in the world's crosshairs, Iran on the table, no 'false' peace, draconian laws. America is basically one terror attack away from a state of fascism.

28. Well, it's gone from radar to Civil Defense siren volume
I hate to say it, but it's something that's next to impossible to ignore. MSMs are doing stories about it. Radio is...well, let's just say deep discussions are ongoing.

I rarely, rarely, tune in to any of the numerous religious stations in this area (Chicago). But, on Friday night as the AAR daytimer station was going off the air, I tuned in to one that (for some reason I haven't figured out yet) my husband has a button tuned to. Serious stuff on there about the Revelations, the signs, etc. I could stand it for about three minutes, then started laughing and went to a very popular but powerful local station. I used to listen to them all of the time in the mornings...light, funny talk between top 40 songs. Apparently, some Christian rock has risen in the charts. *click to another station* and Creed is ... *click, radio off*

30. Here, there and everywhere
It's all around on the net, and whenever Israel are involved and biblical implications comes in, one must at least try to view the events like a fundie would. Is Bush a fundie? Is he really a Christian or is he pretending to be? How secterian are the US fundies, and how many rapturists are there?
Why doesn't Bush demand peace, is it because he thinks he may be the anti-christ?

10. MSM said the orginal plan was a meeting about hurricane preparedness
but that plan was pre-empted by the Israel-Lebanon war.

12. A news site in Scotland is reporting
Its Cuba

“I’ll speak to Condi Rice when she gets back tonight, talk about what she saw, what she heard in the Middle East. And, of course, there’ll be a way forward in the Security Council later this week,” Bush said, speaking after a meeting with Cuban-American business leaders in Miami.
