"Tell them about the discount, Harry!"
Oh. My. Gawd. Does anyone else get a rash when that comercial comes on Air America?? I stream it at home and I just whant to reach into my speaker and beat that naggy/whiney woman with my keyboard. I'd even take the Ovaltine commercials over this abomination.

Sorry... needed to rant.

:argh:

3. I'm totally with you.
That ad is especially annoying, but I broke down the ad time to Randi's time. I guess one has to put up with the ads to have the privilege of hearing our station, but the ads run almost 1/2 the show time.

6. I don't mind hearing ads, and I understand why they are there...
I just think that one in particular is terrible. It makes me think that I too could have a career as a copy writer for radio advertising. :eyes:

4. I kind of miss the "Eight Guys Out" commercials -
dating service for gay men. I am not a gay man - but going out with 8 guys just sounded like fun!

7. I find that ad sounds not so much like teeth grinding as it does...
well... it sounds like the after effects of eating 3 alarm chili. It sort of reminds me of the campfire scene in "Blazing Saddles".
