Okay one post then I'm getting out of here. It bothers me that we aren't wearing out our diplomats trying to restore sanity. It's New Orleans all over, we should have teams of diplomats in Jerusalem, Beirut, Damascus with our secretary wearing out jet engines to solve this.

1. There's plenty of time for Bush to meet with the American Idol finalists..
and for Condi to hold a piano recital.

2. But why use diplomats when it's more fun, and easier, to just let
everything go to shit and command other countries by fiat?

Diplomats are for DEMONcrats who don't have the backbone to let the world go to war and kill itself and to make pronouncements from on high, because LIEbruls think that other countries are sovereign to themselves, and not to us, which the Republicans (that is, the Christian party of moral values) know that by Divine Right we have the right to control other countries, or to just sit idly by and let them die.

3. People dying? Unimportant. Profits going down? Emergency!
Maybe they can find a Lebanese Terry Schiavo to pique their interest?

7. Training Peacekeepers
I thought that was the UN's job. And it seems like they are bugging out.

9. The US had their own peacekeeping training school once upon a time.

Bushco closed it before the invasion of Iraq.
Bushco's goal has been to neuter the UN, using Bolten to do it.
