Is there anything that we can slap DC Dems with that will get their
attention? What the hell do we have to do to get them to behave with a little common sense and work for the people they represent? Alot of what they say anymore bears little resemblance to the real world. Watch them vote for this Tax/Minimum Wage bomb the House sent to the Senate. I'm disgusted with them right now. And no apologies to the overly sensitive operatives that visit the board or the "moderate Dems."

1. Yes. "We know our votes are being stolen and we know
you haven't lifted a finger. We will."

I think that should take care of it.

7. He can't -- or everything else loses its force.
So, we keep at it.

Every (daily) request I get for donation goes back with this: Once you help clean up our elections, I'll be happy to support your project.

Because it doen't matter how much money I throw at anything IF MY VOTE ISN'T COUNTED.

I do believe you are on to something when you say: "everything else loses its force".

15. Yeah. Took me a while to get it. It's too dangerous and could
discourage too many and neuter too much.

Guess it's up to us and Obi Wan. :)

9. That's a beginning
Someone like Schumer or Ben Nelson won't change--they don't care. We should also continue to "grown our own" candidates. :D

12. Absolutely true. I'm sick of the "old guard" from the club defending him.
Damn Democrats campaigning for Joe "Bush Lite" Lieberman. After Lamont wins the primary there better not be one Democrat that campaigns for Joe. If there is, they might just as well disband the party. It will stand for nothing and a lot of good Democrats will just quit the party, myself included.

16. Have faith, if this one goes
the rest will start to turn around. Like John Edwards has done. Schumer may have to go , too. Boxer will shape up and there are replacements are waiting in the wings for DiFi's seat. So I hope you stay in there.

5. Politicians only feel the slaps of votes and/ or money.
Withhold either, then they will come to you. Their first allegience is to themselves.

8. We need to pool our money together and buy some multinational corporations
Edited on Mon Jul-31-06 03:36 PM by Beelzebud
Maybe buy some defense contractors, a credit card compay or two, and maybe an oil company.

Then they'll listen.

10. Maybe they don't exist
I'm starting to think that the concept of "DC Dems" is just an urban legend. I'm going to go over to snopes.com to see what they have to say about it.
