Santorum Won't Apologize For Wrongly Linking Casey To Al Jazeera
Click here to read the latest dumbass decision from the increasingly desperate Rick Santorum.

It's hard to believe someone this stupid is representing the American people, until you compare Santorum with others in the GOP.

2. This guy is an absolute LOON
He needs to just be voted out of office and the population of Pennsylvania should demand an apology from him for ever running for office in the first place! Geez...these people have absolutely no shame, no moral foundation, no ethical beliefs. . .just power.

4. hey, why should anyone apologize
???

Coulter didn't apologize for calling Gore a "fag."

Bush didn't apologize for joking about not finding WMD (at the 2004 white house correspondents' dinner)

Cheney didn't apologize for swearing at Sen. Leahy on the senate floor

Wolfowitz didn't apologize for wrongly saying that Gen. Shineski had no clue when he suggested the coalition would need several hundred thousand troops in Iraq.

Tenet didn't apologize for "slam dunk" -- instead he got a medal

Sen. Sessions didn't apologize for comparing embryonic stem cell researchers to nazi scientists

etc. etc.

6. this worries me a tad, and is a good move by Santorum.........
given the unenviable position he's in. His campaign is banking on a majority or Pennsylvanians not being able to sort out the truth here. I think it's a good bet. And, even if it's not Al Jazeera TV endorsing Casey, it is still "some Arab" entity, or at least an entity that sounds Arab.

7. Apologies can only come from those who think they've done wrong
So you can see why Rick and the other Republicans need never say they're sorry.

13. Jon Stewart
pointed that out on a recent show, following Santorum's announcement that he discovered WMD.

11. It's worth pointing out some people on DU make this mistake
or, even more commonly, they mistake www.aljazeera.com for the TV station (it's an independent magazine).

Personally, I'd say an endorsement from the Al Jazeera TV station is preferable to the aljazeera.info website - they're more objective. But I suppose the .info site is at least run by an American, so is more relevant to an American election.
