This guy screws up everything he touches.

I'm quite sure a lot of people WON'T be listening.

Bush Speech to Focus on Health Care Plans

WASHINGTON - If it's your money, you spend it more wisely. That is the idea behind the health care system that President Bush wants to create with a series of initiatives in his State of the Union address.

"The American people are very, very frustrated with the health care system, for good reason," Al Hubbard, the chairman of Bush's National Economic Council, said Wednesday in an interview.

Health insurance premiums are rising faster than inflation. The number of employers offering health coverage is dropping. The ranks of the uninsured are growing. These developments explain why health care is near the top of many Americans' list of worries.

Taming health care costs and energy prices will be priorities for Bush this year, Hubbard said.

1. This should prove interesting. In the wake of the drug plan brilliance,
who will be first in line to endorse this round of horse s**t?

2. All the elderly KNOW Bush screwed them on the Rx plan; they won't trust
his word on anything, but especially on anything related to medical care. The same holds true for the adult children of older Americans. They've also seen how Bush lied through his teeth and made the usual inflated, totally hollow promises.

3. "It's your money, so you need to spend more of it to stay alive."
Isn't that the translation of the Chimp's plan for health care?

4. So now what bush?
More giveaways to your campaign contributors , like you did with your Medicare prescription drug scam?

Were on to you chimp. Your reputation as a liar and a manipulator are in good standing. Do yourself a favor and just STFU. Youre embarassing yourself.

5. And I expect the linchpin of the whole thing
will be putting artificially low caps on damages for medical malpractice.

7. We need to pin this health care/cost disaster on REPUBLICANS,
not just on bush.

If everyone over 65 never votes for bush again, it gains us nothing. They have to be reminded that all Congressional Republicans are responsible for this mess as much as bush and that they should never vote for another Republican for Congress as long as they live.

9. this reminds me of......
........his 'brilliant' social security reform!!

I remember that was supposed to be his main issue last yr! After talking about it non stop for about 6 months, virtually NO ONE thought it was a good idea!!!

I have no doubt that, yes, he will find a way to screw this up too!!

11. I'm in line at my local pharmacy 2-3 times a month and witness the shock
of elderly folks when they are told for the first time out how much more they have to pay for their meds. Fortunately none of them that I have seen had to leave without the meds because they were unable to pay.

The pharmacy clerks feel so put upon because they have to break the bad news to the old folks and explain how they got screwed.

13. The clerks shouldn't feel guilty or put-on.
Especially if they or those elderly voted for Bush. This is obviously what they want.
