Shadegg supports any reform short of punishing the abusers
of the system. Have you been listening to him? He doesn't appear to want to root out those who have gamed it.

2. I finally had to turn him off. He's another slick operator.

I couldn't stand looking at him. He reminded me of the news caster "Ted" from the old Mary Tyler Moore show...the one who's always smiling and preening himself.

He also took the Dem's proposals...Obey, Price, Frank and another Rep from Maine had a report from their Study Committee Committee meeting listing reforms for the House and it was shown on C-Span just a couple of weeks ago. They had excellent proposals and were co-sponsered by American Enterprise Institute. Did the C-Span Anchor ever say a word about the Democratic Commmission's proposal?

I hope so.

3. There was a discussion of the Dem proposal at the
beginning of the program--call-in segment. This is about the House Leader election to replace Delay, so this is one of the R candidates for that.

LOL re: that guy's smile. Did you hear the R guy who called in and told him he had a cute smile?

4. Not only did he run the spin I'm for reform but I'm against reform
he also said he nor any other republican thats ever attacked an american Vet. This guy is so full of it, but a caller did check him by asking why is it now that he is for reform when this isn't his first term. The caller said you been in the house a number of years and looked away when you saw wrong doing, but now, after taking Abramoff money, your for lobbying reform. Shadegg reply? I gave the Abramoff money away.
