Hell, why pay those high salareis, perks, etc. to Congress when Ebay could effectively (and More Transparently) auction off the U S of A and manage future legislation. I can see Tom DeLay's "buy it now!" list...and the USSC alone could raise MILLIONS!
The writing of all future policy could then be granted to the highest bidder and the profits directly into the Feds coffers, rather than our Legislators' fake charities and Caymanan bank accounts.

giving those of us sellers who are responsible, caring and struggling to make ends meet while also trying to give good customer service, offer a decent product, shipping charges and packaging a bad name.
Let the government set up their own online auction site where they can sell allthat you mentioned along with the seized property customs, IRS, etc have been auctioning off cheap for a while at specified locations around the country... at least then it would be more accessible to all Americans so they can watch their governement sell not only "one person's junk" but also what belongs rightfully to them... jobs, privacy, their homes, etc.
