Right on cue - Democrats make media push -- Here's bin Laden!!!
Edited on Thu Jan-19-06 10:15 AM by tasteblind
Drudge (don't lecture me about it, I don't care) has "New Audiotape from bin Laden" as his headline.

They just pull this shithead out of a hat whenever they want, don't they?

Edit: Now it's a videotape: "We are ready to attack you again."

BOOGA BOOGA BOOGA!!!

2. My husband, a NYC firefighter who was working 9/11
says that bin Laden is on Bush's payroll. Whenever the idiots get into too much trouble, they pull him out of the hat.

Heh.

21. Your husband is a smart man.
And God bless him for his service.

A shame that his efforts and the lives of others like him are taken for granted by people who should be looking out for us all, not trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

Of how Americans want troops out of Iraq. Surprise, surprise!!!!! I guess now we have to agree with Bush or be threathened with supporting Osama bin Laden.

10. we should rebuild them anyway
without any threats or offers of truce from bin Laden. It is the right thing to do. But I worry that, because Osama asked this, Bush will use it as an excuse to destroy more of these countries.

and we know there are no original thoughts out of this gang. Look for the chimp to make more speeches about the "hard work" still to be done, blah blah blah...

22. But, BnB, Keep In Mind. . .
. . .that both Silverspoon and Darth have both repeatedly told us, in the last few weeks, that we're safer now. It is not in their interest to have the same bad guy haunt us. Saddam was a nice new boogeyman, but OBL reminds us that we never caught him AND that we're not safer. That makes them look wrong. I don't trust this gang either, but i think the last thing they want is for that guy to raise his head again.

29. That's true, but chimp's tired old message always was that we must protect
ourselves from the OBL threat no matter what. Now that OBL's "back," all the old arguments for wiretapping, spying, etc. will be revived, the media will report high alert levels, so that we must forget about the minor annoyances of Alito, Abramoff and all else but the "work still to be done" by the administration fighting terror.

31. Fair Enough! But, It's Still Bad News For Them
Because the counterarguement is so simple: "You did all this wiretapping, bombed Iraq, subrogated civil liberties, and we're still in danger? That means everything you did failed to protect this country!"

on our side to, you know, actually SAY what you just said. STATE the painfully obvious!

Kerry? Pelosi? Boxer? Beuller?

Most likely Conyers or Cynthia McKinney will call them on this. They seem to be the only ones on our side with balls.

37. That's exactly the message we should be screaming from the rooftops..

I think that this is the message that the Dems should go with, however those with an IQ under 100 won't see it that way. They see it as a threat to their security, and they want to be secure.. They are willing to sacrifice all for a false sense of security, and all the administration will have to do is act on that. They don't understand that it isn't something that is attainable, so they will keep up the "sacrifice" until all of our freedom is gone, and we've painted ourselves into a corner that we can't get out of. By the time these people figure it out, it will be too late. This is the fundamental issue we face, the people of our nation lack basic reasoning skills..

They only pull OBL out of his "undisclosed location" to make another tape when they think they are backed against the wall. Unfortunately, the MSM whores are always ready to comply with the wishes of their masters.

20. The biggest thing keeping us in check is the compliant media, and
the idea that we are scattered individuals who are skeptical.

The reality is that many people are skeptical about what is going on, but afraid to say anything.

27. this is what i think the democrats on this board arent seeing
yes, we know what bush does. we have seen it many times. the reason we have seen it many times, is the democratic aprty representing us has done a good job niiping at these peoples heals for at least the last year. though many here say dems are spineless and are doing nothing, we have had these often in the year. it does wear them down, they become obvious, the people see. why bush will not ever get those numbers up, even when it seems he is on a high, the base has forever eroded. and that is because the dems have done so well with the repug control. i have watched in the year, so when hearing dems here constantly attack dem congress, i truly jsut shake my head. they are doing well

there are so many things taking bush down right now. we on this board has known about all of this stuff. it is not new to us. i know i was spending three hours, finding the most responible republican, to give them this information, and they would say, if this was happening, the media would report.

no i say.

i had one friend tell me not long ago, after i told her something new, ..... she said, everytime i hear something new from you, .... i later hear about it somewhere on the news. i am always ahead

except the mundane, like some blonde, blue eye girl kidnapped on a little island..... somewhere. wink

33. People should really give their Democratic reps more credit.
You are absolutely right that they have done their jobs. Without making wild claims that would relegate them to Howard Dean-style media hell, they have worked diligently at poking holes in the claims of Republicans, without accusing them of the obvious wrongdoing, which doesn't play well on TV. People need to give them more credit.

they had to vote on, without having read the bill, i thought was ballsy, creative, and supported the american people in doing what they were suppose to do, representing us.

how many on this board even knows the democratic representitives took this action?

42. I agree. they have handled themselves pretty well given the situation they
are in. I think that the more the R's pull these tricks like OBL to distract, the less likely it will work for them. As long as the Democrats keep up the pressure, things look good.

28. his people received payment from bushco before 9/11
Edited on Thu Jan-19-06 10:46 AM by seabeyond
it is about confirmed, they had bin laden cornered and army high ups allowed him to escape. some could say helped him escape from one report i had read a year or two ago. letting him merge in (6" what'?) with evacuees from that area on a military plane.

and bushco lies about everything. they admit to lying. is part of doing their war. they tell us, they are allowed. i mean this is a no brainer, yet still supporters will say bush is a good ole christian man, and i am being mean. again, go figure
