9/11 Commissioners Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton failed America

We learn all of this via a new book from the co-chairs of the 9/11 commission, a Republican and a Democrat. They tell us the commission was stymied on a number of fronts by the Bush administration as well.

Well here's a thought. Rather than telling us this in a book years too late, why didn't the book's authors stand up at the time and make a difference when it mattered?

Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton didn't seem to have a problem when the commission was still active. They didn't have a problem writing a final report that they now claim might be a wee bit wrong. Oh no. Rather than going public at the time in order to get the answers we needed to stop the next big one, these guys sucked it up, like all good Washington politicos do, and basically fed America a load of crap in their final analysis and recommendations, simply because they felt it was better to get some final report, any final report.

What is the difference between what Kean and Hamilton are telling us in their book today, and what, say, Jayson Blair did in his tell-all book about his plagiarizing days at the New York Times? We didn't believe a thing Blair told us in his book because he was a proven liar. Why should believe Kean and Hamilton now, or at the very least have any respect for them, when they tell us that they basically sold us out in the final 9/11 report because they didn't have the backbone to do anything about it when it mattered? Now, that it's too late, they're coming clean? In August, no less, when the press is on vacation, along with all of Washington and most of America?

from those sham of hearings. Bring this stuff to the public. They the administration stone wall and lie its way of any accountability they were complicit in the cover up. I glad they finally came clean but its way to late for us.

We were led to believe that the splashily released 9/11 Commission Report was the entire truth of the matter. Now we learn it was less than the truth, which immediately lends a measure of validity to the much maligned "Conspiracy Theorists"

4. I guess none of this lackluster performance fooled me

I knew from the start they really weren't interested in providing us with the truth. This was all done for show. To make us feel better somehow, by holding the hearings because the American public demanded some kind of accountability and maybe closure.

Mad king Boy George didn't want the hearings to begin with, but had to bow to pressure, because we were demanding it. They made sure it would have limited funding as well.

The time that had lapsed into exploring what happened on that tragic day was done on purpose. And the people picked to chair the committee was done with the sole purpose of NOT getting to the bottom of the causes. It was just window dressing. It was designed to get us to STFU...

Lee Hamilton is responsible for stopping John Kerry's probe about Iran Contra as well as BCCI investigations way back in the 80's. So it really didn't surprise me that he wouldn't delve to deeply into 9-11.

There is a very dark secret to some of these people who are powerful and in control of the under lying workings of our government.:scared: Such a Shame....

Lee Hamilton dropped the ball on the October Surprise and got rolled on Iran Contra. He's always handled point on Democratic investigative failures. When his name came up for 911, I knew Dem leadership was more interested in closing the books than snooping out what happened. Lee's the fixit man for the head-in-the-sand faction.

Lee Hamilton earned his button covering up Iran-Contra and the October Surprise. Both protected, not Pruneface Reagan, but Poppy Bush. Kean's tied to Big Oil.

At least the GOP'ers who are being lied to by happy face mainstream media hacks will hear this. The 9-11 commission was a cover-up and the Bush Administration blocked the investigation, this is
