Anybody see MSNBC anchor try to blame Floyd Landis on the French? |
|
I don't remember the exact wording, but it was a woman, and it was right before 10 AM EST this morning. She was basically trying to start the meme that the testing firm was French, and the French are out to get us, so...etc., etc.

1. The French have a history of attacking US cyclists |
|
L'Equipe continues to report stories of Lance Armstrong's alleged EPO and blood packing. They attacked Greg LeMond after he won.
I'm just sayin...

3. I have one statement for that |
|
IF we don't like other countries or international rules...then we should stay the fuck at home. More of the "blame someone else generation". This was a bike race, not national security. The guy doped. It's time for him to pay the piper and give back his title. He got busted. Whatever happened to personal responsibility and the buck stops here. I guess too many people are taking their lead from our idiot-in-chief.

4. His first positive result comes at Stage 17??? |
|
Why would he take testosterone, which has NO short-term benefit, in the middle of a race where the riders are tested AT LEAST twice a day? It doesn't make sense. He had 3 or 4 doctors with the team. Anyone with half a brain could have told him that testosterone would do nothing for his endurance over the short term. If he wanted to recover from his crack on Stage 16, there are other, WAY MORE EFFECTIVE methods to do so. Testosterone doesn't make sense.

Same lab.
He has an appeal process, which they mostly neglect to mention or explain. I'm hopeful his record will eventually be cleared in that process, but there wlll little joy and vindication left in it at that point. As of now, his career has been effectively tried, convicted and totally trashed. Makes me sick.
