AIPAC's man Haim Saban endorses Schwarzenegger
Saban is also a hollywood producer (e.g. Power Rangers). Haim Saban is also a big supporter of AIPAC, "American Israel Public Affairs Committee".

Saban has also given millions to the Democratic Party. In 2001 he gave a $7,000,000 contribution to the Party.

You think Party leadership is going to allow anyone who wants a future with the party to offend people like this, and take positions that question US unconditional support for Israeli policies? He pays lots of the bills (and he is not alone), you don't make waves. Despite his support for Arnold, he will keep sending checks to the Dem party, and they don't want those checks to stop.

We must make it impossible for big money to control Washington, from big oil to big pharma to the supporters of Israeli militarism and extremism that is AIPAC.

2. Isn't Schwarzenegger on record as stating
Hitler was one of his heroes - or his family involved with Hitler or something -

How ridiculous for a big AIPAC supporter to endorse him....

3. It isn't at all. Sharon (and the ruling Kadima Party) are great friend of
the Italian Party that supported Mussolini, National Alliance.

Now that same party has switched that hate to Muslims and Arabs, they fit together well.

4. The OTHER interesting point...
in the LA Times article posted in LBN

Well now you mention it...

I did think that it odd that a whole slew of Hollywood producers, well-documented Democrat supporters, would 'turncoat' the Democrats so publicly.

No doubt, these are corporate interests speaking and they do appear to be 'gaming' both sides of the partisan aisle. Influence can be gained through withholding funds just as easily as gained through donating funds.

But I can't imagine for the life of me, what might compel all these Management types to now support an governor they actively donated to campaign against in the first place, to support a viralent union-buster, a misognist, at one time 'anti-semite', and a Republican close to Blair and Bush?.

It must a issue of such importance that appearances and principles be damned...

7. Democrat Steven Spielberg endosing Arnold! Where are all those people
Edited on Sat Aug-05-06 03:23 PM by LaPera
who said Arnold was toast a few month's ago and laughed when I said that's exactly what the republicans want...the Dem's to be over confident... the same know nothings who watch television news shows and polls are believing the Dem's are going to easily take back the majority in congress. Crazy fucks!
