10. I think it is because the ruse for the Iraq war fell apart yesterday.

in a public manner.Shrub explained to his base that the enormous cost of the war (moral,economic and in blood) was worth it to make a friendly and democratic government that would sell us its oil cheaply.
None of that is true and it was broadcast to the world with this demonstration. Also it is clear the new government will be Iran friendly too and Iran is an axis of evil member, an axis which only existed in Shrub's brain PRIOR to the invasion.
Accordingly, Shrub is caught in a trick from which there is no escape. It is becoming clear to neocons even, that Iraq will be a gigantic failure. now Shrub must somehow convince his base, which frankly could care less about Iraqis, that this anti american anti israel march is in their self interest and worth the blood and treasure. I believe he can't do that which is why i think 2006 could be a realignment year for us.
