Why would anyone want to Conquer Earth?

What makes men want to conquer everything in sight? Alexander, Julius Caesar, Napoleon, Hitler, and now the Neo Cons, what the hell is up with these guys?

First of all, you CAN'T conquer the globe, the very idea is ludicrous. Why would a person want to? Why would millions of others join in the madness and help these maniacs?

Is it in fact a psychotic mental condition similar to a serial killer's? Is it wired into us from way, way back when? Why do the neo cons want it ALL?

We are not the world's police, or the world's parents, deciding who can and cannot have weapons of mass destruction, we are not the master race, or the greatest nation, and we can't possibly make every human being over in our own image, why bother?

Is it hyper-greed, or ego? Are they just uber-control freaks? How far would they go if they really wanted?

Everybody wants to rule the world, why?

Pathological Narcissists are convinced at an early age that they are gods among men. They deserve to own the world and exploit it to their heart's content. It just feels right. And they aid and abet each other in this 'conquering' mentality. They feel most truly alive only when conquering and controlling others.
